New Moon New Life. Hummingbirds in my Heart.
Apr 18, 2015New Moon New Life.
There is a mysterious nest entwined with the vine that embraces the window of my house. The home of two tiny hummingbirds` babies. The nest, made by their mom, fragile and small enough just to cuddle these two tiny creatures. Mom hums them song to comfort them when she flies out and around.
Hummingbirds were always around my house. Sometimes with curiosity they visited inside. I remember her now as a frequent guest. While flying around she was planning to move in for a while. She decided that her past and the future meet in this majestic confluence of giving birth and caressing new. Time almost stops when love ignites. And it did in my house. She brought eternity.
Her wings move in the same pattern as the infinity symbol, or like the number 8, but sideways. Wings of hummingbird can flap up and down as much as 70 times per second.
This type of movement with the wings is symbolic of the fact that hummingbirds can represent the past and future, as well as the laws of cause and effect. They can also represent infinity itself or even continuity and eternity.
In my house, on my eyes, and deep in my heart, my beautiful tiny friends, strong and fragile, share with me their life.
According to Native American legends hummingbirds guide to healing and finding balance.
One of the first time when I met them, I was sitting still and meditating on the blooming meadow, during my road and off road trip. I felt like they were weaving a crown on my head. They were whispering of my past and the future and were dissolving the whole knowledge out to the wind. And they were humming their wings as I would do to sing my soul. At that time of our humming together we brought the sun to set, I felt the crown on my head was sparkling jewels.
She and I are now sharing two homes entwined in one.
